Paper as Object

A piece of paper is flat. It is 2D - a surface on which to write, draw or paint. When a piece of paper is folded it takes on a new form becoming an object. Folded paper can make the sections of a book which is a 3D object. Pieces of paper can be joined together to make hangings, screens and partitions as my previous posts demonstrate. Paper can acquire tremendous strength and yet still be very light
by the process of papier mache.
