The construction and form of the bookwork set it apart from ordinary mass market books. It is a craft object where content and form come together to create an artwork that can be admired for its physical beauty and engaged with by opening it up.
Books can take our minds away from the present moment into the realm of imagination, memory and aspiration. Likewise the bookwork is a vehicle for thought and expression. This blog looks at the book as art and all things related to books.
This bookwork is still very much at the idea stage ...... I know its not going to have paper pages and its going to be blue and ocean/sea influenced..... here are a two shots of blue....
