The construction and form of the bookwork set it apart from ordinary mass market books. It is a craft object where content and form come together to create an artwork that can be admired for its physical beauty and engaged with by opening it up.
Books can take our minds away from the present moment into the realm of imagination, memory and aspiration. Likewise the bookwork is a vehicle for thought and expression. This blog looks at the book as art and all things related to books.
such a clever use of words and sounds .....take 4 words with the same end sound 'x' or 'ks' and the same vowel sound 'o' .....fox, socks, box, knox...... to make something that is hard to say .....thinking how I can use this in spoken word poetry..
