Cut up poems








going to the Poetry Library today to get creative with cut up found material and concrete
poetry postcards ....





here are the poems I created - click on the image below to enlarge and read



these poems were created using text
from a newspaper .... cutting out half 
of a sentence and trying to link it 
up with another line of text 
or words to create a train of
thought ..... or nonsense

    I've just edited this blog post by adding photographs
    of the results - you can just about read them if you
    click on the image to enlarge
    ..... it was a lot of fun and has really got me thinking
    about words in everyday contexts and how meaning can be
    altered.... by rearranging words and putting them into a new context
