BOOK ART: Form and Function 2

The bookwork is to be hand-held and fit into the palm. It will contain a poem to be read aloud. It will be portable and fold out.

 

Both 'Dark Days' and 'Lost' poems have sombre themes that lend them to the angular harshness of the triangle form.

I want it to unfold in a sculptural way.


Now to experiment with a more basic square shape - started off with a square piece of paper...
