At Phoenix Gallery Brighton 'Press and Release' exhibition, and workshop events I was invited to take a miniature book
The book is really small next to this pencil:
I made the book into a ring:
and following the instructions of the project took the book out to an interesting place:
I chose the Globe Theatre in recognition of the impact Shakespeare has had upon our language and learning.
The idea is to leave to book on location so I attached it to a nearby tree.
It looks really small in its location but it is there
.....or it was when I put it there a few weeks back ....I have yet to go to see if it
is still there.....

I hope it still remains in place...! I love the idea of a miniature as a ring. I wonder if there's time for me to take a quick piccie of one of my miniatures and send it in to the project? Your blog, by the way, is great, so informative, so thank you! ...I think I'm going to have to keep an eye on what's going on in and around Brighton book art-wise!
